Are you feeling lonely?

You may experience how it is possible to feel lonely even in a crowd. Sometimes you feel lonely when you are isolated from other people, but a lot of the time loneliness happens when you do not feel connected to the people around you, not accepted for who you are or not understood by others. Feeling like you don’t “fit in” is something that can happen during different stages or transitions in your life. It is OK to admit you feel that way.

It’s normal to feel lonely once in a while, but if you consistently feeling alone, sad, anxious or hopelessness, it is important to let someone know how you are feeling. If you don’t have a friend or family member you feel comfortable talking to, I can listen to you and offer support during this time to help you feel more connected.
